What do you teach participants?

We train participants to become Electricians for Renewable Energy, also known as Elektrofachkräfte für Erneuerbare Energien. This training program equips students to become fully qualified electricians with specialized knowledge in green technologies such as solar panels, heat pumps, wind turbines, thermal power, and more. Additionally, we provide German language training with a focus on job-specific vocabulary and communication, and intercultural exchange to help them succeed in the German workplace.

What sort of jobs can graduates expect to do? What does the job involve?

Graduates can expect to work as Solar AC Electricians initially. These electricians connect solar equipment to a building's power system and the main grid. The job involves:

You will typically work either alone or in a small team, traveling in a van equipped with necessary tools and equipment. The job is both technical and social, requiring you to interact with colleagues and clients. Workdays generally start around 6 am and end at 4 pm, with most work performed indoors rather than on rooftops.

Is the job physically challenging? Will I work on roofs all day?

The job involves being on your feet and carrying equipment, but it is not overly physically demanding. You will not be required to work on rooftops; most tasks are performed inside buildings. The job is suitable for both women and men without any special physical requirements.

How much can graduates expect to be paid?

Starting salaries for AC electricians range between 2500 and 3000 Euros before tax, depending on the employer and location.

What kind of companies offer these sorts of jobs?

Graduates will find opportunities with large-scale, modern companies that have installer teams throughout the country. These companies often include startups with young, international teams that utilize digital tools in their daily workflows.

How much is the course?

The course, valued at around 18,000 Euros, is covered by the jobcenter via Bildungsgutschein. We assist participants in applying for this voucher. The cost of the pilot course is covered by our company for all participants.

Can I participate even though I am not registered as unemployed in Germany?

We will help you find the best way to join the course. There are options for training as part of a “Weiterbildungsmaßnahme” for those not registered as unemployed.
